Pearson Education - Bad Access Code Son missed a week of class
We bought the book and access code card to Mastering Biology. Keep trying to install it. Says bad access code. Error Code 84. Customer Service says you are next in line for an hour?????? I refuse to pay for another access code ($80. My college student has already missed a week of assignments. He is not the only student in the class with this issue. A third of the class is missing out. Pearson has a monopoly on educational products including the wasteful Common Core Curriculum. Someone in government needs to take this up. Help!

Literally extortion

I am not happy that sometimes, even if a given course is assigned, that the student has to pay $50, $100, $200+ solely to take the exams for the course, because it's on Pearson. It's extortion towards lower-income students, e.g. me.

Login issues

I have not received a call from you all as of yet on my issue I had to end up registering again costing me another 48.14 so I would not risk taking my Bio Test late. So I need a reimbursement for my purchase.

This is not the greatest. You do not have a phone to call. And the chat is a joke. You fill out all this stuff and then it does not respond.

Details
When I have to spend hours resetting passwords and trying to connect to support, it becomes extremely frustrating. I don't have time to deal with their *** "chat" messaging board that takes too long to explain your matter and there is no one to actually talk with. Every class that has used this awful learning platform has been most unpleasant. I spend more time dealing with "log in issues" than I do studying!!!!! I don't gain anything from the learning activities. I hate 3rd party learning platforms. Its laziness on the teacher's part.

Have question

I purchased an access code from Del Mar College Bookstore..I am trying to find out if the access code will be good for me to use next Spring semester as well. I know some access codes are 18 weeks only and I need to use it this semester and in the Spring. They aren't sure how long the access is.I wasn't able to purchase through Canvas because they said I wouldn't be able to use my Financial Aid. I would have to pay for it myself. All tutorials for how to link this course with blackboard do not work! incredibly hard to get ahold of anyone from support. there is no contact number. ive been trying to get this set up for close to 4 hours now and have been waiting for the text chat for over 45 minutes. truly a terrible company.

Poor customer service

Still resolving. Pearson's admitted fault, agreed to re run test at no further cost. Waiting to see if new test works and no further issues.

My child had to complete a Pearson's supplied test online. Connectivity issues occurred after a successful pretest, so couldn't access the test at allotted time. Contacted Pearson's via email immediately (don't bother trying to call them, they don't answer!), took 5 days to get a response! They told us test can be retaken if we pay again. Pointed out via several more emails as they are hard of understanding, that we never accessed the test as we couldn't! Looked at Trustpilot, Reddit etc, this company is utterly loathed for poor customer service and money grabbing. They shouldn't be allowed to have these contracts and their CEO Mr Fallon should be arrested for fraudulent business practices. How are they allowed to continue trade in the UK?
