You can no longer reach someone at Pearson Higher Education Publishing using an "800' number.No number is provided.
This is deliberate, because their new corporate "strategy' is to funnel all requests for desk copies through the sales rep, who is available...whenever. I have been waiting for 24 hours for my rep to get back to me about desk copies which were ordered several weeks ago and haven't arrived. I do not know whether they were lost in the mail, whether my college mailroom lost them, or whether they were ever sent.
To figure this out I need to reach my rep, and she isn't responding either to calls or e-mails.I'm pretty fed up at this point, and will probably have to cancel my order with our college bookstore and just adopt texts from other publishers at the last minute.
