A Pearson rep came into my psychology class to promote their book and show us how to access the required online access. He made clear that if we had any trouble accessing it to call the technical service and to GET A CASE #.

When I called, The woman on the phone was clearly outsourced to the Philippines but more importantly not capable of helping me with my simple problem. She told me to expect an e mail and a call back for more help. I asked her for a case number and she said it will be in the e-mail. I insisted I wanted a case number-- but she PROMISED that it would come.

I didn't get an e mail or a call.

This woman flat out lied to me! They charge too much money for too unremarkable of textbooks.
