Purchased the book thru Amazon 9780789754554. Installed the practice test software (local Windows). Successful install Attempted login - see attached. Used the contact us to register issue on 11/1/2017 no response Today, I called support 1 800 677 6337 guessing I was routed to the 3rd party call center as the CSR was extremely English-challenged after 30 minutes... sorry, but we don't handle PearsonITCert issues. Let me send you a link to use => Rec'd email with link to contact The link is the same one I used a week ago to register the initial issue. no response from that - hence the phone call this AM If no resolution in next 24 hrs, book goes back and will not use pearson products again. I've had other issues with Pearson Vue (apologies if they are not related..)

Details
Tests do not seem to be developmentally appropriate for grade-level of students. The questions are one to two years above the grade level of children taking the test. If a huge portion of students fail the tests, Pearson can then offer remedial assistance that can be bought by the school districts. What a brilliant way to make even more money. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. Do not like the secrecy surrounding said tests--parents and teachers cannot see students' tests. Too much invasion of privacy--data collection of children, monitoring social media, etc. It's all very disconcerting and extremely inappropriate. Seems like Pearson has the corner on the market of curriculum, assessment, and remedial materials--quite the profit-driven, corporate machine, over-taking our country's schools. NOT in favor of the Pearson monster at all.

It's cool, I don't need to turn in my calculus homework said NO ONE EVER. Pissed? Ya, their whole my math lab site went down (didn't work after clearing cache and history on 3 separate browsers, and rebooted) and kicked me out of my homework. I launched their idiotic live help thing and the estimated 8 minutes turned into over an hour....and their 15 minute wait for phone help? After an hour and 13 minute wait, they hopped on the call and hung up. Funny, since all of the sudden their site worked again, so I raced to finish my calc, and then dialed their line again. My estimated 7 min wait time is now 13 minutes....so Pearson, maybe you should change your '24/7' customer help to 'maybe we'll help you if we feel like it because we're ***' customer aggravation. I'm thrilled that I got to spend oodles of cash on you 3 times now, just so I can get my math credits for college. Crooks.
