Lost study plan assignments

On Thursday, 11/6/17 my study plan assignments in My Math were almost all completed. Pearson did an update and on 11/8/17 over half of my completed assignments were suddenly incomplete. Contacted Pearson, was basically told “hate it for ya, redo the assignments, take screenshots when you complete work in the future & then MAYBE we can help.” I was also told I’m not the only person this happened to, they know there’s a glitch in the update but...meh whatever. I take 2 math classes on My Math & they are both screwed up. This company & their IT department sucks. Two fingers up, two thumbs down review.

Worst customer service on the face of the earth.

My professor sent a link, a log on name, and a password. This brought me to a link that say the item was $80 with free shipping.

Once the item was in the shopping cart, the price changed to $126 plus shipping and tax. I had no option but to order it and thought I could contact customer service to sort things out. However, There is not a customer service telephone number...at all! They also don't respond to emails.

I contacted tech support, who kept me on the phone for two hours only to tell me email was my only option. I emailed them six times and they never replied! Settled it with my bank. Pearson has a good product but they hate their customers and don't want to help them at all.

If there was a choice I would never use them at all. The worst customer service on the planet.

Rules what rules?

Math follows a set of rules. The rules are there for a reason, when your software tells you that your following the wrong rules then turns around on another problem and says what was wrong is right.

You have an issue. Example, adding and subtracting fractions no don't add divide. The following problem same formula then tells you don't divide add. This software trys to teach a method that is confusing and inconsistent with what my Professor is trying to show us.

The solution is ungodly picky and expects you to know. Also why is my TI-84 plus telling me the answer is one number below or above what you are giving me on a problem that you DO NOT ROUND ON.

Person Lab is a waist of money that could be spent on something better. It is a waist of time trying to figure out and the people behind it should be ashamed of there selves.

Pearson Customer Service Sucks!

This past semester I had to use Pearson MyLabsPlus for a 16 week math course I took online. Everything was going good until one day I was doing homework and was unable to save the answers to my math problems that it took me 5-10 minutes to do!

I called customer service and got a lady on the line. The connection on their phones SUCK! I was able to get someone on the phone within 2 minutes but there was a bunch of static on the line. PROBLEM 1!

I called back and got a guy named Bob. He was HORRIBLE. He asked my name, number, and email address but kept asking me to repeat everything literally 5 times. I immediately got upset and asked to speak to a supervisor.

I mean it shouldn't take 20 minutes just to collect my name, email, and number. PROBLEM 2! He sounded disappointed. He said he would transfer me to a supervisor.

After waiting for 5 minutes, I hung up and called back. This time I got a different guy on the line. He was giving me attitude asking what class I was taking and acting like I was annoying him when I expressed what was going on. After about 10 minutes, I was able to get into my courses.

He quickly said thank you for calling have a good night and hung up the phone.

He didn't even ask me if I was happy with the help I received or if I needed anything else.! This is the WORST customer service line I have EVER called (besides one other).

Their maintenance issue was listed as having been scheduled for completion on continually further times, and now their site says it is down until further notice.. Not a good time for this considering the first exam is very soon.

Ive had issues with them before with glitches and nuisances but this is a critical problem.

When class is paid for and there are deadlines, one wouldn't expect the course website to be the party that is the issue, but in this case it is. Unfortunately math class is not hosted through our own schools' website, because that one has never given me trouble.

My Pearson's MyMathLab Review

Pearson's survey question: "In one to two sentences, how would you describe MyMathLab to a friend who will be using it next semester?" Me: Your life will suck. The program does not accurately match what the teacher is instructing you to do.

Their products are overpriced and I feel like I have been scammed. I loved the Alex education program in math 95. But when I had to switch to Pearson's everything was terrible. I was charged a $100 for a product I already payed for and the customer service was terrible.

I could not understand what this lady was saying. I do not mind talking to people from India, but I could not understand what this Woman was saying. I do not think she could understand what I was saying either.

I have been home schooled since 7th grade and have used over 15 different online education platforms during my education and Pearson's is by far the worst, as well as the most expensive. I am severely disappointed in their service.

Worst online homework experience ever

The lab and mastering portion of their terrible lineup is the clunkiest website I have ever used. Each click requires you to wait 2 seconds before something happens on the screen, and if you have one accidental comma, or any deviation from what they think the answer is, the question will be marked wrong.

Every time I try to click the close keyboard button, it instead submits my answer, marking it wrong even though I was trying to close the keyboard to finish the quetion. Don’t eve get me started on their textbooks, either.

Each page is a wall of text with terrible explanations and a lack of visuals. Their e reader is worse than Windows 1994.

Pearson Customer service is really bad.

Called Pearson Vue on 10/25/2017, after a long message I got connect to a person who I believe in India. After he asked me for all the information and I gave the case number which opened by the test center, he put me on hold for 10 mins.

Then he came back and asked if i took the exam. I said yes then he put me on hold for another 10 mins. Then came back and said I need to wait until the Friday 10/27/2017 so they will give me more detail. Pearson Vue customer service really don't know what to do and really wasting people time.

I just don't want to deal with them again. Stay away from them if you can

I hate Pearson

What the *** kind of quiz is 60 questions long?? Not including that most questions were 2-4 parts!

I'm using it right now for a macroeconomics course and I absolutely despise it. It takes me forever to complete homework and quizzes. Most homework problems are 10 parts, but only worth one point. At least give me an incentive to complete this never ending assignment!

The first quiz I took glitched and I was marked down for answers that were correct. The graphing problems are incredibly vague as are the questions.

Pearson honestly consumes so much of my time. I understand putting in effort to receive a good grade, but Pearson is a bit extreme with the workload.

Pearson has to be the worst program in the history of the internet. It consumes so much of my time.

I would fire everyone at Pearson and destroy to whole program cause its a piece of crap. most questions have 5-10 parts and I just receive 1 point for answering all 10 parts.

I am taking Accounting 2 on Pearson. Everyone that was involved in making the program disgusts me and they can go live in a sewer.

Unable to access text book via Revel

It has been going on over a week now and I still cannot log in to Revel. My class has had labs and quizzes already. I am going to have to buy a 2nd hard copy version just to learn. Their customer support has offered me nothing. I call them and all they can say is they handed it off to some upper level support person. No get well date or temporary access to another Ebook. They say sorry many times but offer no compensation for the subscription time I am missing. All I am asking for is something to take my class with. They cannot provide it. I have paid for something i have no access too. Will be reaching tout to BBB about giving money for a product they are not providing. I just want some kind of acknowledgement from them and their lack of support.

Well, I was on hold with these people for about an hour. I have so much to do. So much homework and other things. If you can't run a company then don't run it at all. Plz change management. Pearson refuses to help disabled vet

Ordered a book package with lab. Was waiting. Then received email saying it was on back order. Great. I decided to just cancel the order and order the online lab and get to work on my class, using the digital text online. That worked great. HOWEVER, they sent me the first order and charged me $260 for the same thing I bought. No accountability that I can see. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get help. I will steer everyone away from buying from this company. I have filed around five help requests and no one will contact me. disgusted with this criminal organization.

I hate Pearson.I am so outraged right now.I took a quiz twice and I got the same score a 84% and Pearson won't let me move forward because the score they set is 85% and if you don't have 85% you have to start all over again which is wasting my time because I have other classes to attend, so in other to move forward I have to go to my professor on Monday and take the quiz again so now I have to wait till Monday to go talk to my professor and I have math finals that same day. I am so *** angry right now.Pearson is just messing me up.I can't believe this now I am going to lose lose financial aid because of there *** rules ***.i don't know why the expect student to have a 85% on a quiz this need to change because a lot of student are suffering because of this most of the student dropped the class and some are not able to finish it because it too *** plenty and you guy expect so much from us and it doesn't seem like you are try to help us at all.

Glitchy crap

I spent hundreds on a statistics program that doesn't teach you a thing aside from how to plug numbers into "technology" if I want to learn new software I promise you it would be the stuff used by professionals not the nonsense online only crap Pearson peddles. If that weren't bad enough the "professor" I have simply keeps pushing Pearson products. It is nonsense. I then take 100 question quizes that time out on my perpetually and complain to the instructor that it is taking 5 hours to finish his quiz. He blames me for the server problems, then has to curve everything that the class does. This is not an education this is a man trying to prove he is smarter than a bunch of children and young adults. I'm almost certain the man is being paid by this publisher. Otherwise why defend them so fiercely?
