Disappointing service

I clearly provided an overnight shipping address to my purchase, my book/access code were overnight shipped to an address I have not lived at for several years. I have no way of contacting Pearson, as no one is available until Tuesday (Monday is a holiday). Therefore ~ due to an error with Pearson, the earliest I will receive my book/access code is Wednesday. Despite my numerous effort via their website (Chat/message/phone). Utterly disappointing.

My Accounting Lab is up and running again, but I doubt that will last very long. I cannot stand using this website, I learned better going off book for a semester than I ever have when using Pearson.

I can't find the phone number anywhere online. It's not on the website, I had to call Canada (bless them) to transfer me over to a US representative. Then I sat on hold forever. Their chat option made me wait over an hour before I just closed it. They are seriously the least helpful people I've ever encountered. I absolutely hate using Pearson. If I could, I would never use them again. Angry

Wouldnt allow me to access Mylab I tried to reach out multiple times and couldnt get anyone to help me get into my account Ive tried numerous ways of fixing it and no one could assist me. Its causing my grades to fail. And the system is overall very poor

I paced an Oder for a text book. I was told that my package was damaged in the mail. They sent out a second package and it was the wrong book. I called them for a third replacement and still not have received it. This was over a week ago. The whole process has taken over a month.

I cannot log in to my account, and when attempting to chat with support, it says there is a critical error on the Pearson server, so I cannot speak with them. Then you call the number list on their website, and it says it is no good.

I am a college student using My Math Lab and I have to use this program for homework and tests. I hate how you have to have the exact same answer as Pearson. If you have a single extra space anywhere you get the question wrong, with no additional feedback that says you had a single error in your answer or anything.

After a week, Finally got the number to call: 1-80*-922-**** Option 4. Just say "refund request" and have your order number. You will get jerked around a lot, just finished a 20 minute argument with phone rep who couldn't deal with emails just to get a confirmation. No refund yet, it may take 6 weeks. :-(

I bought a textbook last year and have been receiving monthly collection statements for this purchase despite having financial statements proving this book has already been purchased. It is frustrating and I've sent countless emails to Pearson with either no reply or demands that I pay again.

Inability to receive desk copies of books

I have ordered desk copies for my instructors. I have also emailed the representative for my campus. I get no results from any endeavor I have tried. This is extremely frustrating when I am working to get desk copies of books my instructors have already chosen to use with no results from Pearson.

I am still facing problems to get my PTE scores and to reach customer support.

I had a terrible experience during the PTE exam. I had selected Hawthorn Centre, Melbourne, for my PTE exam but due to some issues my exam Centre got changed to 123 queen street, Melbourne, which was against my preference, besides, during the exam they provided me a faulty computer with a faulty headphone. During the exam, I had informed them about the issues but they said " IT'S ALRIGHT, COMPUTER IS SMART ENOUGH TO CATCH YOUR ANSWERS". While doing the exam, my headphone stopped working and as a result I missed a few questions ( which contain high marks). After complaining about the situation, one of the staff told me to try for other questions ( with a dead headphone) and "IF THE HEADPHONE IS STILL DEAD THEN WE CAN THINK OF AN ALTERNATE SOLUTION". Subsequently, after an argument, they changed my examination hall and without checking the computer and headphone, they logged me in and said "Oh, guess your exam is started", such statements cannot be accepted. Moreover, with all these problems, I tried to contact Pearson customer support team but all they said was " SORRY SIR, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING AND WE ALSO DONT HAVE ANY SPECIFIC DEPARTMENT TO HANDLE SUCH QUERIES, WE ARE HERE ONLY TO PROVIDE INFORMATIONS RELATED TO YOUR TEST DATE AND CENTRE". So far I have tried to contact them via emails, customer service helpline number and feedback forms, but didn't get any response yet. Furthermore, I gave my PTE exam on 6 days ago and I still haven't got my scores.

Save yourself countless days of studying and just go watch some videos on YouTube and read the textbook. "Pearson Mastering" is the most convoluted and simultaneously useless program I've ever used. I thank God every day that my teacher doesn't actually take it into account for our grade. But it's so ****ing awful that I needed to write a review because I paid $70 for it. I had to. Not worth a penny; don't buy it. Some credit - The Study modules and Practice Tests are decent. Everything else is terribly designed.
