How dare you create state tests that are above the developmental level of the children you are testing? I am a 3rd grade teacher in a district that is performing well. Even my brightest students struggle with these tests. I am speaking now of the ELA test. The wording of some of the questions is ridiculous. In the writing portions, many children can articulate and substantiate their thoughts... Read more

This test is riddled with problems, but your greedy agenda doesn't care as long as the cash keeps flowing. I am a mother of a HS Junior that was bullied (unsuccessfully) into taking your test. She was told she wouldn't graduate if she didn't take the test. She was informed that she would be punished to the fullest extent they were allowed because of her "insubordination". I've done my... My children were allowed to take the first round of PARCC testing only to save ourselves from being indirectly punished by our district and in some fashion which I'm sure to come by Pearson if they have their way. PLEASE NOTE: My children did discuss the CCRAP testing with me. I'm their parent and am bound to protect them in every way possible. Did they provide specific test questions? No. They... Read more

GO AWAY AND Stop stealing our public education from our children....I don't know how you sleep at night. You are not even an American Company. You also invade our children's privacy and Data points that will effect their futures. Your company is doing nothing good for our children and their futures. Again I will never have anything nice to say about your company. I will never buy a product that... Read more

Awful books, developmentally inappropriate materials, HORRIBLE "customer service", spying on kids Twitter feeds after school hours... The more I experience and see, the more I wonder how this company is allowed to continue to monopolize our children's education! Add comment

Your spying on children, your classified test, your error ridden books, you collecting data for profit is disgusting ! I hope your company goes bankrupt! Add comment

I have opted my grandson who is in 4th grade out of your testing. You will not getting his info. Your test are ruining our school. The teacher can't teach anymore because all they do is practice for these worthless tests. The teachers can do there own tests and find out where his learning needs help or not. You know nothing about teaching. You set in your beautiful office and think up *** things... Read more

  • REVIEW RATING 4/5

I took the elementary multi-subject cst exam in early October. When I realized that I wouldn't receive my test score until early 2015, I was a little concerned, but thought the score would be released sometime in January. In early March, "early 2015" wasn't so early anymore so I called Pearson and the NYS DOE offices to try to get an explanation. Pearson explained that they had nothing to do... Read more

Tests do not seem to be developmentally appropriate for grade-level of students. The questions are one to two years above the grade level of children taking the test. If a huge portion of students fail the tests, Pearson can then offer remedial assistance that can be bought by the school districts. What a brilliant way to make even more money. Sounds like a conflict of interest to me. Do not like... Read more

Get out of our schools....you are running the education of our children and also using them to as pawns to make yourself a boat load of money. Take your textbooks and PARCC testing and be gone. Objective facts, such as names, dates and events are not taught in American history, but political bias and opinion. You are teaching religion with omissions and errors and poisoning our student minds,... Read more
